An expanding international trade show

Leading European forum for livestock professionals, the SOMMET DE L'ÉLEVAGE in Clermont-Ferrand/Cournon is one of the largest international trade shows specialising in livestock production.

In 2010, it is estimated that almost 1,200 exhibitors and 76,000 professional visitors, including 2,000 from abroad, will be present at the exhibition.

Located at the heart of the Massif Central, in the largest beef cattle breeding region in Europe, the SOMMET is a business forum primarily devoted to showing animals.

In 2010, more than 1,900 animals of high genetic value will be presented at the show (22 French and European cattle breeds, 26 sheep breeds, 16 horse breeds, etc.).
